During class breaks, many students wrap their work in a wet towel to keep the clay moist. I couldn't resist to shoot this photo of someone else's work once I looked up from my seat and saw this from across the room!

Field trip

My drawing class (Spring 07) took a field trip to the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park (local in San Francisco) to choose a piece of artwork to draw, while in the short time limit there.

This is the artwork I chose, an oil painting on canvas by Agnes Pelton called "Challenge," done in 1940:
